Hill Country Ministries

St. Peter's is proud to support the Hill Country Community Ministries.  This nonprofit corporation, a coalition of churches assisted by area businesses, civic organizations, service clubs and concerned individuals provides food, clothing and other assistance for people in crisis and those living in poverty in southwest Williamson and northwest Travis counties.

In addition to a monetary donation, St. Peter's also collects cans of tomatoes for the Hill Country Ministries food bank.

blue santa

Each year, St. Peter's adopts a family through the Blue Santa program. Lago Vista Blue Santa provides toys and food for families during the Holiday Season. We achieve this goal with the goodwill and support of the North Lake Travis residents, businesses and civic groups with their donations of money, food and toys.

veteran's outreach

Through the generous donations of those attending the Veteran's Dinner, St. Peter's provided donations to Honor Flight Austin and Operation Comfort.

The Honor Flight Austin mission is to transport with a specific priority given to WWII Veterans in the State of Texas and Korean and Viet Nam War Veterans residing within 14 counties listed below  to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices and return them home to their families and loved ones.

Operation Comfort provides support to our Service Members who have been wounded in Afghanistan or Iraq and are receiving treatment at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) and Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Wounded Service Members from all over the United States recover in San Antonio.
